The Clothes Line is new concept in the charity world devised by The Blue Cross. The web site encourages individuals to donate their high-end designer clothes to help the charity. The online project is backed by a traditional fundraising campaign and uses social media and mobile as a driver for the delivery of the fundraising campaign.
The Clothes Line site is the core of the project primarily devised for mobile users. The site organises the delivery of special Clothes Line donation bags for end users to place the designer clothes in. The Clothes Line then organises a courier to collect the package and “voila” your designer clothes are utilised to raise funds for The Blue Cross via a chain of retail outlets.
