Wiltshire Air Ambulance takes off with Tigerfish website design

Registered charity Wiltshire Air Ambulance approached Cheltenham website designers Tigerfish last year to create and launch a new website to help them raise the remaining £1.25 million which they need to build and equip their new airbase.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance was established in March 1990 as a joint venture between the Wiltshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust and the Wiltshire Constabulary. Sharing resources kept the costs down so the charity “only” needed £700,000 a year to keep Wiltshire’s air ambulance in the skies. In January 2015 they started operating a dedicated air ambulance which means they must raise £3.25 million a year.
They are now going to build a new airbase for our helicopter, aircrew and charity team. To that end they have just received full planning permission in January 2017 for the new airbase on land at Outmarsh Farm, Semington, near Wiltshire.
The site is ideally situated in central Wiltshire, allowing the helicopter to reach all parts of the county within 11 minutes.
