Drupal 6 support ends

A website development agency

On February 24th 2016, Drupal 6 will reach end of life and no longer be supported.

Drupal 8 has now been released and as such, Drupal 6 is coming to an end. At the end of February 2016, the Drupal community will no longer support this.

While we at Tigerfish will endeavour to provide what support we can, we would make you aware that there will be no more security patches or updates for Drupal 6 websites. We will continue to security patch our hosting environment, but the Drupal 6 code base itself will not be protected from possible future attacks.

We already take many steps to protect your website including regular backups, virus and malware scanning and site monitoring but if your website is based on Drupal 6, then you may want to consider looking at a possible upgrade.
