Some of the biggest drops came at Wired magazine, a seemingly natural fit for the iPad audience with its futuristic tech focus.

Although the medium is touted as a lifesaver for publishing, it may take time to kick in. For now, from over 100,000 digital magazines for Wired's first digital iPad issue in June, sales slumped to 31,000 digital copies in September, followed by 22,000 in October and 23,000 in November, per WWD.

If you wanted to get your magazines onto the iPad here is an excellent way of taking the plunge with zero outlay.

Tigerfish can get you up and running with an iPad version of your magazine - all we need is the final version PDF of the iatest issue and we can take care of the rest.

We are able to sort out everything to do with your new iPad magazine including uploading it to the iTunes store and making everything operational for you, including the subscription revenue for downloads.
