Wonderbag is a unique product that needed a unique site. Drupal 7 put us in a great position to come up with something special, featuring huge amounts of evocative imagery, especially where food is concerned, along with a whole bunch of social content and interactivity.
The site integrates with Twitter and Facebook, and allows users to participate in discussions on the site itself. It contains a recipe index where users can submit their own recipes for moderation, and an online shop selling the Wonderbags themselves.

Already 74% of searches carried out on Google are for local services and products so look at the competition hotting up in this area and get your business maximised for local search.

A recent article from eMarketer highlights the fact that small businesses don’t believe that social media is an effective tool for marketing and promoting their businesses. At Tigerfish we believe that social media in isolation may not give the results required – but combine social media with email marketing, newsletters and blogs and that maybe a different story.

Pull up your website. Pretend you are a new prospect and ask yourself the following questions. Or better yet, find someone who has never seen your site before and ask them to answer these questions:

The article below shows how search engine marketing, SEO and pay-per-click can be a massive boost to charities. It highlights the importance that you need to be fast off the mark and focused to achieve an increase in donations.
I suppose it stands to reason the faster a charity can put a facility in place to accept donations the easier it is to give to that cause.
We particularly agree with the statement at the end of the article that “digital” or online doesn’t sit in a vacuum but it is the fastest and easiest media to put in place to gain the most empathy from the public.
But are Twitter just stepping on peoples toes – this functionality already exists and is in use. So is Twitter’s strategy one of vertical integration rather than maintaining the core offering? What do you think?

We had a problem in the office the other day, and one that took days to figure out. The problem we currently is, even though it works fine now, we don't actually know WHY it works (there's a great little comic strip explaining our situation on Geek and Poke).
In these tough economic times, there’s no other form of marketing that gives you more bang for your buck. Especially when you compare the costs of email to a direct mail campaign, email is incredibly cost effective. If you properly integrate your email marketing with the rest of your marketing then you’ll see an uplift in response rates from across your media spend. Not only will you be saving money with email you’ll be making extra revenue from your newly integrated campaigns.

The results of the survey reinforced some of our thinking with regards to online marketing for small businesses and also brought some new activities into the limelight.
As expected 100% of the respondents have a web site and 84.2% indicated that the web site was either very important or essential for the marketing of your company.

We have been working with the direct marketing agency DMS for a while now with regards to online marketing. We have been looking at ways their clients, mainly charities and non-profits can move forwards. This is one idea we saw on the Mashable blog that we will be looking into further.
