Keller

Background 

Phi Group needed to update their web site and make a large amount of marketing and technical data available for its visitors. The site needed a logical way to display key case studies and solutions for clients along with a wide range of products and services. After working with the client's parent company, Keller, on this project, it became clear they had a wider need for web development.

Their original web presence was fragmented, with a number of different sites, each presided over by a number of different Keller-owned companies, but each having a different look and feel, and generally these sites were outdated in terms of visual and content.

Our Work

We created a fresh contempory design for Phi Group and created a user interface that made it easy to navigate through a large amount of information. The case studies are a key part of the sales process so these needed to be found easily and linked to the correct technical data that engineers require.

From there, we developed a number of sites for Keller, maintaining the visual style to create a sense of unity and company values, while allowing for enough individuality to provide content relevant to each site. For example, the Colcrete Eurodrill site needed an easy way to upload technical data that the user could either download, or view on the site, converting between units as required. The main Keller UK site needed to provide a place to find out about employment opportunities while providing a portal to each of the group's individual sites, tying them all together. The Keller Founations site specifically need to convey technical solutions for ground improvement and foundations.

We monitored the search engine positioning of each of the sites on sets of relevant keywords, and worked with Keller to ensure they were creating content that would appeal to their target audiences. We continue to work with Keller to keep the sites fresh, appealing, and above all, promoted in the social media sphere.

Scope

In all, we created eight separate websites for Keller, each with their own flair and dynamism. We even created their company intranet using Drupal and the fantastic OpenAtrium project as a starting point!
