We were approached by this organic farm to develop a content-managed site based on an existing design. The site would need to be simple but striking, communicating the farm's organic philosophy and wholesome values, while remaining easy to use and informative.
We implemented the site in Drupal 7, making heavy use of jQuery in order to provide slideshows and animated effects, to maximise the effectiveness of the high-quailty photography.
We created a standard page layout which allowed the client to add text and images (with captions) to the page and maintain a consistent layout.
As this was a smaller project, we operated within a tight budget to squeeze as much functionality as possible from the site, doing things 'the Drupal way' wherever possible to avoid reinventing the wheel.
The client was thrilled with the way the site conveys the farm's brand and values, and as usual with our web projects, we will be working closely with the client to make sure it performs well in the search engines and the right people are landing on it.
