Today we are pleased to announce a new release of the Wildfire platform for Drupal 6 and 7. Many requested changes, fixes and updates have been included in this release, but the most striking is the overhaul of the broadcast send page.

We've moved the preview so that it's now displayed right there on the send confirmation page, and we've redesigned the way in which you select a list to send to, so that it now includes the ability to send to a small set of test recipients without the need to set up a full-blown list first. This allows you to quickly send yourself and/or a small set of people in your team an immediate email for proof checking so you can see a broadcast as it would really be received by your users before initiating the full broadcast job.

Other smaller updates include display of a job's progress on the job page when processing large sends, under-the-hood changes to the add/remove users from list system, and improvements to integration of Wildfire with your site.
